This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your knowledge and gain experience whilst being supported through training. The role will enable you to complete electrical work to exceptional standards of safety and quality. You will have the right technical abilities and be up to date with the most recent technology. In addition, you will combine real attention to detail with the ability to think logically and solve complex problems on your feet.

We serve approximately 8000 apprentices and 3500 employers England and Wales. Training more apprentices than anyone else in the building services engineering sector.  You would be required to cover the Carlisle site.
 
Your challenge? To ensure that we deliver high quality teaching and learning in all aspects of the Electrical related theoretical and practical syllabus for both City & Guilds and EAL at Level 3 and above. 
 
You will be responsible for developing material to support the required course. This is an exciting new opportunity where we will want you to help promote the activities of the Centre including maintaining relationships with external parties, assisting with industry events and keeping abreast of developments in your field of expertise. You will be responsible for the welfare and safety of apprentices at all times.   
 
Fully qualified in electrical installation, you must have verifiable relevant industry experience and current knowledge of industry working practices and techniques relevant in a building services engineering environment Any knowledge or involvement in Government training schemes and National Vocational Qualifications would be an advantage - as would TDLB D32 and D33 or A1 Unit, TAQA qualifications.  A recognised teaching qualification such as a PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or Cert Ed would be advantageous, however there would be scope for training.

Good IT skills are a must for this role, and with your good administrative and organisational skills, and you will quickly establish yourself as an invaluable member of our team.
