About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join our People Services team on a 9 month fixed term or secondment basis.

Reporting to the People Manager (Employee Relations & Operations), you will play a key role in delivering a proactive, high-quality people service across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People professional to broaden their experience, support impactful initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

As a trusted partner to managers, you will:

  • Provide expert advice and support on a wide range of people matters, including employee relations, absence management, disciplinary and grievance.
  • Support complex employee relations casework with confidence and professionalism
  • Support and deliver key initiatives within the People Plan, including wellbeing, EDI and leadership development
  • Champion a culture of wellbeing and inclusion
  • Ensure consistent application of People policies, procedures and employment legislation
  • Work collaboratively across teams to continuously improve people practices and outcomes

 

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a generalist People role, including complex employee relations casework
  • Has strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application
  • Is confident influencing and advising managers at all levels
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills
  • Ideally holds (or is working towards) a CIPD Level 5 qualification
  • Is passionate about wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion

Experience within education or the public sector is desirable but not essential.
