You will be leading the delivery of core technology projects in data & technology, ensuring project outputs delivered on time and to budget. Leading the technical delivery aspects of strategic and service improvement projects (tier 2 & 3) working in collaboration and support of business transformation project managers, maintaining IT resource schedules and the allocation of resource to support project planning and delivery.

You’ll be joining the Data & Technology team at an exciting time as we are growing to support Moat’s ambitious priorities and strategy.

We support agile working, so you’ll be provided all IT equipment to work flexibly between your home and at our Dartford office.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Project Planning: Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, risks, timelines, and budgets, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Managing data & technology resource schedules and the allocation of resources to core technology projects, and service improvement and strategic projects, in collaboration with business transformation.
  • Risk Management: Identifying project risks, developing mitigation strategies and/or options to minimise potential issues that may affect outputs and outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that underpin data & technology services and support organisational objectives.
  • Communications: Maintaining clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates, status reports, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Budget Management: Developing and monitoring project budgets, track expenditure, and make necessary adjustments to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Change Management: Identifying, defining, and coordinating changes to services and systems, ensuring changes are routed through the necessary data & technology forums for assessment and approval.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, post project evaluations and lessons learned. Ensure design artifacts from projects are accurate, version-controlled, and stored according to data & technology protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Identifying the necessary resources and teams, building cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, vendors, and contractors to ensure project success.

 

We're looking for someone who has:

 

  • Proven experience of IT project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • A good understanding of ITIL: incident management, change management, capacity management, service transition and service operations.
  • Prince2 or Agile project management qualification (foundation) or equivalent experience in operating with these methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and technology trends.
  • Able to produce compelling succinct reports on complex issues.
  • Robust understanding of resource management.
