We are looking for a Data Protection Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting a strong culture of data protection, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
This is an important role where you will support the Data Protection Lead in ensuring Moat meets its legal and regulatory obligations. You will be responsible for coordinating and administering a wide range of data protection activities, helping to safeguard personal data and uphold the rights of our customers and colleagues.
As a Data Protection Coordinator, you will act as a first point of contact for data protection queries, manage Subject Access Requests, and support the handling of personal data breaches. You will work collaboratively across teams, ensuring robust processes are followed and that compliance is clearly evidenced.
You will also contribute to improving how we manage data protection by maintaining key registers, supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments, and helping to embed best practice across the organisation.
This is a varied and impactful role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented individual with a strong understanding of data protection principles and a passion for compliance, service improvement and high‑quality customer outcomes.
You will be confident working with sensitive information, managing competing priorities, and communicating clearly and empathetically with a wide range of stakeholders, including handling complex or challenging customer cases in a professional and solution‑focused way.
