We're looking for a proactive and organised Stock Acquisition Officer to join our Repairs Partnering team on a fixed-term basis as we continue to grow our housing portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in bringing new homes into Moat and ensuring they're ready for customers from day one.

Working closely with colleagues across Repairs, Asset Management, Compliance, Housing and Finance, you'll coordinate the onboarding of newly acquired properties, review technical property information and help ensure that everything is in place for a smooth transition into Moat's management.

What you'll be doing

In this varied role, you'll:

  • Review and assess property information held within acquisition data rooms.
  • Analyse repairs, maintenance, compliance and asset data.
  • Identify defects, risks and outstanding actions, ensuring issues are tracked through to resolution.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities and monitor progress against acquisition milestones.
  • Act as a key point of contact between teams involved in stock acquisitions.
  • Support the setup of new properties within housing, repairs and asset management systems.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers and action logs throughout the acquisition process.
  • What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who can quickly build relationships, manage competing priorities and work confidently with property data.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within housing, asset management, repairs, property services, development or a similar environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing property-related information.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and data management systems.
  • An understanding of compliance requirements within residential property.
  • The confidence to identify risks and challenge incomplete or inaccurate information.

It would be great if you also have experience of stock acquisitions, stock transfers or property onboarding, although this isn't essential.
