Who we are looking for: 

 

Admin Officer - Reception
35 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 4.30pm, 8.30am – 15.30pm, Friday Term Time Only.

Providing a high standard of reception cover and administrative support.

Your duties will include:
• Receiving external/internal visitors in accordance with safeguarding procedures, operating the main switchboard and dealing with enquiries. Taking messages and directing calls to the appropriate person.
• Ensuring that the reception area is a calm and welcoming environment.
• Opening incoming mail, distributing and dealing with the dispatch of mail including operating the franking machine.
• Undertake administration support duties such as purchasing, maintenance of pupil files, archiving, mobile phone and mini bus key issuing and recording.
• Interrogating Bromcom for contact details.
• Supporting the school photocopiers.
• Organising refreshments where required.

You will be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, work logically and systematically, have a good telephone manner, be well presented. As well as demonstrating a flexible and organised approach to work. You will be IT literate, with and proficient in using applications such as Microsoft Word.
