Your new role:

The main function of this role will be to work closely with industry stakeholders and suppliers on behalf of Network Rail Consulting to develop and implement an effective stakeholder engagement approach.  The role will vary depending on the stage of the program and the needs of the evolving stakeholder environment. 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Develop effective relationships and collaborative working methods with program stakeholders
  • Supporting the development of stakeholder engagement governance plans in accordance with the wider stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Managing stakeholder mapping across the program, working collaboratively with key representatives from the Client and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring effective resolution of any stakeholder issues
  • Ensuring accurate recording and reporting of stakeholder engagement activities on the relevant stakeholder engagement database
  • Working closely with the NRC team to ensure early identification and communication of any issues to the wider program
  • Attending stakeholder engagement working groups and weekly collaborative meetings
  • Working with Business Change teams to effectively implement a wider communication strategy
  • Implementing processes to ensure effective Supplier engagement
  • Facilitating the interface with other dependent projects

What you will bring to the Role:



  • Experience managing stakeholder engagement on projects or programs
  • Experience in developing stakeholder mapping and plans
  • Experience of working in complex Program environments with an understanding of project governance structures
  • Ability to use stakeholder engagement reporting tools
  • Experience of working with a varied number of stakeholders with a broad range of requirements

  • Experience of working with Transport for New South Wales, Sydney Trains or other relevant industry organisations desirable
  • Prior experience of working in the railway
  • Prior experience in the delivery of railway projects
