Support Workers - Brentwood

We are looking for dedicated, passionate Support Workers to join our team.

Our Support Workers support individuals with learning disabilities with all aspects of daily living, from personal care to supporting them in leisure, education and social activities.

Our Support Workers enable our customers to express their rights, choices and aspirations whilst ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Outlook Care's policies, procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.

Relevant experience is desirable but not essential and applications are welcomed from individuals with transferable skills along with the ability to work flexibility on a shift rota basis. You will need to be a great team player, motivated, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills, as well as good basic IT skills.

The Service:

Hawthorn is Residential Care home for people with Learning Disabilities. The scheme houses 10 people and is a purpose built complex bungalow situated within the prestigious location of Burntwood Place, close to the centre of Brentwood, and is within easy reach of local shops, public transport links, day centres and places of worship. The bungalow has a communal lounge and dining area, single occupancy bedrooms, bathing and kitchen facilities. Residents can also enjoy summer months in the private garden.
