Aberdeen WELL (Well Empowered Linked Locally) provides short-term support to people presenting in high distress. Working closely with Police Scotland, Aberdeen WELL offers support to those who come into contact with Community Police Officers and who would benefit from a compassionate and empathic response to the distress they feel. The Aberdeen WELL team are situated in Police Custody at the weekend, to provide mental health and wellbeing support to those in custody.

 

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner will provide support to people who present in high distress and may have contact with Police Scotland.  The successful candidate will work with individuals who may present with complex and co-existing needs relating to mental health and who wish to progress in recovery.
