The Percy Hedley Foundation has three main sites providing specialist education, adult day services and residential care to our service users. Our sites are based in Forest Hall, Killingworth, and Jesmond.   

The Role

The Percy Hedley Foundation has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team. In this rewarding role, you'll provide clinical and professional leadership to nurses in the foundation, motivating and empowering others. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Line management responsibility, including carrying out clinical supervisions and annual performance development reviews.
  • Set standards in conjunction with the Executive Team which aim to strive for excellence in all nursing practice.
  • Take accountability for appropriate clinical policies and procedures within the Foundation.
  • Manage and take accountability for the nursing budget.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive approach to health and wellbeing across the Foundation.

About You

  • Qualified nurse (General, Paediatric, RNLD, RMN)
  • Current registration with NMC
  • Experience of working at NHS Band 7 or equivalent or above
  • Experience working with young people or adults with learning disabilities and/or complex health needs.
  • Strong clinical skills and confident in decision-making and managing risk.
  • Passionate about person-centred care and inclusive education.

This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week, however flexible working options or term time only working will be considered.
