Percy Hedley School specialises in working with two distinct groups of children who have cerebral palsy and/or speech, language and communication difficulties and other complex difficulties including ASD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, and ADHD. We set out to make a difference to the learning, wellbeing, and future life chances of children. Teachers, Therapists and Learning Support Assistants work together in trans-disciplinary teams to meet the individual needs of every pupil. The Role

We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join our busy school team.

As the first point of contact for pupils, families, visitors and staff, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service. You will have experience of working in a busy office environment, ideally within a school or educational setting, and be confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a wider administration team. A calm, professional manner, strong organisational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially are essential.

This role is full time hours, working Monday - Friday, 9am - 4.30pm, term time only, plus 2 additional days to be worked within school holidays across the year (specific days to be in agreement with Senior School Business Manager).
