What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity for Construction Administrator to join the Construction Team. This role typically reports to the Construction Director.

The purpose of this role is to work closely alongside the office based construction department and assist the site management team. This is an onsite role where you will work between more than one development to support Site Managers and Contacts Managers with admin.

The role will include:

  • Coordinating site office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company procedures
  • Calling off and dynamically managing materials for delivery, maintaining an easily referenced system for the site management team, involving monitoring deliveries received and controlling stock levels.
  • Liaising with customers and customer care department for appointments and organisation and completion of key stage customer journey processes.
  • Liaising with sales department to control and call of finishing touch orders with relevant contractors/suppliers.
  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
  • Creating and maintaining filing systems, organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer based information, with an objective of a paper reduced system.
  • Maintaining up to date construction drawings in compliance with latest drawing register
  • Letter writing and assisting with diary entries for site management.
  • Preparation of quotes, invoices, pay less notices, contra charges, H&S compliance notices and any relevant paperwork for Management

What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience within a similar role is essential
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Package, including Excel and Word
