What is the role?
We are looking for customer focused professionals to join our growing team as we look to enhance our dedicated customer experience.
The Customer Care Coordinator will play a key role in delivering a proactive and responsive customer experience. This role involves engaging with customers, site managers, maintenance operatives, and contractors to encourage clear communication about any concerns. The Coordinator will carefully log all reported issues in our internal systems and work efficiently to arrange timely resolutions by coordinating appointments, labour, and materials.
The role will include:
- Provide effective support to homeowners throughout their aftercare journey
- Ensure all communication with customers regarding defects is handled professionally, promptly, and in line with Customer Care policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Construction, Sales, Surveying, Technical) to support efficient communication and contribute to meeting company KPIs
- Respond to incoming homeowner enquiries in accordance with company guidelines
- Issue work orders to maintenance operatives and subcontractors, and monitor progress through to satisfactory completion
- Adhere to responsibilities set out in the Group’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy and ensure team-wide compliance
- Perform general administrative duties as required
What we need from you?
- Proven experience in Customer Care within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience in the housing or construction industry is NOT essential. We want customer centric people!
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail when capturing and logging customer information
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in IT, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
