What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity for a part time Payroll Assistant to join the HR team working 4 days a week. This role reports into the Salaries Supervisor.

The purpose of the role is to assist with administrative duties within the Payroll Team.

The role will include:

• Processing and payment of monthly salaried staff across our national group.
• Assist with the setup of new starters, removal of leavers, pay calculations, HMRC reporting, sick pay, pay deductions and variable inputs.
• Period end validations, reporting and reconciliations.

What we need from you?

• Previous experience in a high-volume data input position role or similar is ideal.
• Accuracy and numeracy skills
• Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible in the tasks undertaken.
• Flexibility and adaptability as task will vary from period to period
• Team player
• You must have a positive outlook together with a professional attitude.
