What is the role?
Persimmon Homes Thames Valley based in Camberley are looking for a multi-skilled field-based Maintenance Operatives to work in the West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire areas. The role typically reports to the Head of Customer Care.
The purpose of the role is to provide a variety of high-quality remedial and maintenance works for customers in their new homes, providing maintaining high standards of customer experience.
The role will include:
- Manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete high-quality remedial works in a timely manner and in accordance with set SLA’s.
- Provide quality remedial works, ensuring compliance under the Persimmon Pledge and Customer Care Policies and Procedures.
- Minimise costs associated with remedial works and adhere to the sign-off and cost recording policies, identify all contra-charging opportunities.
- Complete all required online reporting via the COINS Mcare Operative App, facilitating accurate record keeping of defect resolution and root cause analysis.
- Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout team
What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?
- The successful applicant will have previous experience in all areas of maintenance e. decoration, localised plastering, joinery, tiling, sealant etc and be flexible, well presented, be able to use initiative to problem solve, be self motivated and have good customer service skills.
- Plumbing/electrical skills would beneficial.
- PASMA certificate is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
- Conversant with Microsoft Office
- Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- First Aid qualification would be advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence is required

A Van will be provided for company use only. Your weekly working hours are a minimum of 40 hours but with a willingness to work up to 50 hours if required. The additional work over standard hours will be paid at time plus one half depending upon customer demand and ‘out of hours’ appointments.
