Support Worker

Longlast, is a well-established, CQC rated outstanding, 11-bed residential care home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities in Stockton-on-Tees
All applicants must hold a full, valid, and clean Driver’s license and have their own vehicle due to the location of the service and the service needs.

What you’ll be doing:
- The role requires you to support the clients with every aspect of their daily life within the service and also out in the community.
- Promoting independence.
- Taking part in the chosen activities of our clients.
- Personal care.
- Will involve a variation of shifts and the option to work long days. Shifts are generally between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:30 pm.
- Waking nights may be required on a rare occasion.
Who you are:
- You must possess an excellent ethos and values around the provision of care.
- You are able to work as part of a team to support our clients in achieving a fulfilling lifestyle.
- You are a clear and confident communicator.
- You are flexible and have the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and Bank holidays.
- An NVQ level 2 in health and social care or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Experience working in a social care setting with similar needs is preferred but not essential.
