At Paxton House we support people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, behaviours that are perceived to be challenging, non-verbal communication and/or Autistic spectrum disorders. Our service is a modern, bright and well-equipped working environment based in Borrowash, located between Nottingham and Derby.
What you’ll be doing:
- To work with the Service Manager to support the 24-hour management of the service, ensuring that all aspects of care and service delivery is focused on meeting the needs of the people we support.
- To deputise for the Service Manager in their absence.
- To provide supervision, supporting and developing of staff. Monitoring, coordination and day to day management of the team.
- Manage day-to-day staffing, resources of the service and ensuring rotas are planned.
- Help and co-operate in effective management of staff budgets by careful organization.
- Participate in on-call rota to provide managerial support across mutiple services.
Who you are:
- Experience in a senior role required.
- Ideally hold an NVQ level 3 and willing to work towards level 5.
- A highly motivated leader that will promote a ‘can do’ culture.
- Flexibility is needed.
