Support Worker
We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.
Hyde Lodge has been a well-established residential service in the heart of Bristol since 2014, supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. The service is home to eight individuals, many of whom have lived together for years, creating a strong sense of community.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting 2 to 1 and 1 to 1.
- Providing proactive, positive, and caring support.
- Enabling people to learn new skills towards living more independently.
- Assisting and providing individuals with support for their emotional and practical needs.
- Personal care.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
- Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support, both within the service and out in the community.
- Working varied shifts around the needs of the people we support (no nights required). Will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
Who you are:
- The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire, and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
- Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Motivated and a team player.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Drivers preferred.
