Bank support worker
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Bank Mental Health Support Worker.
We are looking for an experienced mental health support worker to join our service in Warrington, where we support adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and or complex mental health needs.
The people we support want staff who are motivated, like to participate and who will be as enthusiastic about their interests and hobbies as they are. We also have Pets here at Heath lodge that are a big part of our home. We currently have two rabbits, two chickens and a house cat.

- Bank hours – shifts will include a variety of days, evenings, nights and weekends.

What you’ll be doing:
- Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive well-being.
- Participate and be enthusiastic about the interests and hobbies of the people we support.
- Maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
Who you are:
- You will have a background in mental health support work and have experience in supporting people with challenging behaviours.
- You will be able to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise your work to suit the people we support.
- Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internally and externally.
- Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
- Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
