This is an ideal developmental role for somebody looking to take that next step, working towards a management position within social care. What you’ll be doing:

  • You will have a team of people that you are responsible for, ensuring mentoring/training/supervisions and rotas are kept up to date as well as the day-to-day service delivery.
  • Contributing to the young person’s care plan, risk assessments, their review and implementation.
  • Attending meetings with social workers and other providers.
  • Part of an on-call system.
  • Provide high levels of care and support to reach outcomes.
  • You will meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people and maximise opportunities for development.
  • You will form effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies.

Who you are:

  • You are currently a Senior or a Team Leader looking for a developmental role, working towards a management position. 
  • Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
  • Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
  • Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Quick learner, hands on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
  • Experience in care sector is essential as this is a senior role.
  • To be able to work flexibly as needed, this will include evenings, weekends, sleeps and on call.
  • Level 3 NVQ desirable.
