Maintenance Operative
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Maintenance Operative.
Regents Park is a residential service for 7 individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and sensory needs.
Regents Park has been providing specialist residential support in Exeter, Devon, since 2000. The service is home to seven residents, many of whom have built strong bonds over the years. Regents Park is a lovely traditional building with easy access to the local community, including shops, leisure activities, and even the beautiful Devon coastline.

- £12.30 per hour.
- Part time, 8 hours per week. Preferably worked over one day during Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, but we can be flexible with the days and times.

What you’ll be doing:
- General maintenance, repairs and upkeep of our service.
- Completing health and safety checks.
- Transporting our residents by car from time to time if needed.
- You are able and willing to come in and work extra hours outside of your contracted hours (and during unsociable hours) if there was an emergency.
- Will involve lone working.
Who you are:
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- You will have a good understanding of health and safety regulations and requirements.
- It is essential that you have the ability to carry out general maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard.
- You are proactive and can work on your own initiative.
- Motivated and a team player.
- You are a driver with a full manual licence.
