What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance and knowledge with all regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular staff supervisions and training sessions to promote professional development within the service.
  • Support the staff team to maintain a high level of care that is required for the needs of the People We Support and for the service.
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and other MDT to ensure cohesive care planning and delivery.
  • Support the Registered Manager with the rota system incorporating 1-2-1 hours for the People We Support
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance.

Who you are:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role within health and social care
  • Have a minimum of NVQ level 3 and be willing to work towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership.
  • You will be trustworthy, reliable with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • You will have a positive outlook, recognising and respecting differences and encouraging growth.
  • You will embrace continuous improvement, sharing best practice with an open mind to learning.
  • You will treat people equally, remove barriers end empower the People We Support and Support Workers to have their best lives.
  • You are professional, with the ability to motivate others.
  • You are people centric, supportive, and compassionate.
  • A Driver is essential due to service requirements and for the needs of the People We Support.
  • Must be available for immediate start pending suitable DBS a reference checks. Preferably on the update service.
