Support Worker

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Wrockwardine is a supported living service in Telford providing specialist support for up to 13 adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.

 What you’ll be doing:

  • You'll support on a 1-1 basis and promote independence. 
  • You will support the people who live with us in accessing the community.
  • You will work to maintain a high standard of support that is required for the service needs.
  • Will involve personal care.
  • You will be happy to take part in the chosen activities of the people who live with us. 

 Who you are:

  • You will have a minimum of 6 months of experience in a social care setting.
  • You can work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work.
  • You are exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • You have the ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
  • You are a quick learner, hands on and willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
  • You are flexible with the ability to cover a variety of shifts and can work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Drivers preferred.
