The Role:
- As Deputy Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager to deliver a safe, high-quality, person-centred service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Supporting, mentoring, and developing staff through regular supervision and training
- Promoting and maintaining exceptional standards of care for the people we support
- Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care planning
- Supporting rota management, including 1:1 support hours
- Contributing to quality assurance processes and continuous service improvement
- Leading by example and helping to create a positive, empowering culture within the service
About You
We're looking for a motivated and compassionate leader who can inspire others and drive positive outcomes.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within Health & Social Care
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, professional, and proactive approach
- A commitment to equality, inclusion, and person-centred support
- The ability to motivate and develop others
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and care standards
Availability for an immediate start, subject to enhanced DBS and satisfactory references (Update Service preferred)
