We have an exciting opportunity within our Marketing team for a Middleweight Creative Designer to join us for a 12-month fixed term contract.

As a key member of our in-house Brand Creative Team, you’ll work closely with the Brand and Creative Lead, acting as their deputy across a wide range of campaigns and projects.

You’ll play a central role in delivering our Brand Strategy — turning strategic direction into creative concepts that truly resonate with our audiences.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and present conceptual ideas in response to briefs from Marketing and internal stakeholders.
  • Transform insight and feedback into bold, engaging creative across digital, print and campaign channels (social, branch, outdoor, web and more).
  • Implement and maintain brand guidelines across all communications, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Collaborate on above-the-line creative such as TV, radio and print in partnership with agencies.
  • Stay ahead of design and industry trends to continually evolve and strengthen our brand output.
  • Work closely with UX/UI colleagues to ensure digital experiences reflect our visual identity.

You’ll bring:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • A varied portfolio showcasing creative thinking, brand storytelling and multi-channel work
  • Experience developing creative for both print and digital channels
  • Solid understanding of brand and corporate guidelines
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Great time management and progress reporting skills

Desirable:

  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior creatives
  • Creative copy writing skills
  • Agency or in-house design experience (3+ years)
  • Familiarity with collaboration and project tools (Figma, Miro, Asana etc)
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro or motion design (bonus)
  • Understanding of CMS platforms or email marketing tools (e.g. Sitecore, Mailchimp, dotdigital)
  • Welsh language skills are a plus but not essential
