This entry-level role is part of our structured Academy Programme and offers hands-on technical training, mentorship, and real-world experience within the Principality’s Change teams. It’s the perfect role for someone looking to build a strong foundation in modern software development practices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Participating in structured training and development activities to build technical and professional skills.
  • Working closely with your mentor and team members to gain practical development experience.
  • Contributing to real-world development projects alongside an experienced team.
  • Develop and enhance components that power our core banking systems.
  • Build intuitive applications that improve experiences for customers and colleagues.
  • Write automated tests to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to create the best solutions.
  • Challenge convention, improve processes, and refine best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A keen desire to learn and develop in the field software development
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work and learning
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Fast learner who can adapt quickly to new tools and technologies
  • Good time management and organisational skills
