We’re looking for a detail-focused and collaborative Commercial Operations Officer to join our Commercial division.

This role plays a key part in helping the business achieve its objectives by delivering high-quality operational and administrative support across multiple teams.

Working closely with Relationship, Securities and Underwriting colleagues, you’ll contribute to delivering excellent customer outcomes while ensuring process run smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

In this varied and dynamic role, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day support to Relationship Management teams, assisting with account servicing and administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data across internal systems
  • Support the administration of customer accounts, including activities related to securities
  • Process financial transactions, including payments into and out of customer accounts
  • Assist with monthly processes such as rate changes and statement production
  • Collaborate with team members across the Commercial division to deliver a seamless service
  • Contribute to operational improvements, projects, and service excellence initiatives
  • Support underwriting activities, including preparing management information, assisting with submissions, and completing audit checks
  • Organise, attend, and document internal meetings, ensuring clear communication of outcomes

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in people who bring a positive, proactive approach and enjoy working as part of a team. You will also have:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Confidence working with spreadsheets and multiple systems (MS Office skills are essential)
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective working relationships

Desirable Experience (not essential)

  • Experience in commercial lending or financial services
  • Understanding of commercial lending practices and principles
