Salary Actual for 40 hours, 37 weeks - £20,776 - £27,953
(starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience)
40 Hours per week, 37 weeks per year (term time only)
We are seeking to appoint a highly creative, committed and enthusiastic individual to deliver a structured health, wellbeing and pastoral curriculum, along with targeted support around a range of social, emotional and behavioural issues to young people aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Working with students both 1:1 or small groups within College, Team Homes or the wider community.
Role includes:
- Supporting whole college attendance
- The planning and delivery of high-quality pastoral programmes to small groups of students
- Working with the residential team and residential students in the team houses to support healthy eating, sleep hygiene, sensible screen use, healthy exercise and college engagement.
- Organising and leading a weekly student walk (all day activity) in the countryside - to support good mental and physical health and well-being.
Successful applicants must:
- Know the surrounding countryside outside of Sheffield.
- Be a driver who is willing to drive groups of students. Willing to work towards a minibus driving qualification.
