Learning Assistant – Land and Animal
Based in Bristol
We have an exciting opportunity for a Land & Animal Learning Assistant to join the team at Grace Garden School in Bristol. You will offer specific and specialist educational support to the Land Tutor in the delivery of a therapeutic education programme to a number of students using methods in line with the Trust’s Steiner principles. You will organise and give guidance on appropriate work for students using biodynamic agriculture principles and methodology. The successful candidate will role model the interaction with nature, the land, the animals, the farm, students, staff and parents. They will prepare the garden for use as an educational facility and manage projects in a market garden, in collaboration with the teachers and teaching assistants.
