What does this role involve?

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to help manage the delivery of care and support in line with legislative requirements and ensure the service maintains viability to grow. The role of a Care Co-ordinator is varied and includes working both in the office and out in the community.

Example Duties that will be included:

  • Day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service, ensuring standards of care and schedule of visits to clients are maintained, in line with CQC standards.
  • Ensure accurate, concise, and timely records of care given and other administrative documents relating to the provision of care and support.
  • Ensure effective management of care packages, from referral through to assessment, quality assurance monitoring and client reviews
  • Ensure the safeguarding of all clients through adherence to relevant legislation, procedures and codes of practice relating to care, health and safety, food hygiene, fire precautions and emergency procedures, infection control and emergency first aid.
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with external agencies to ensure services are delivered effectively.

Hours

This is a part-time vacancy due to the nature of the role. Our office hours are 08.00-16.30 Monday to Friday, with on-call on evenings during the week and occasionally supporting the weekend team at weekends.

Requirements

For this role, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role or setting
  • Be computer literate, with experience using Microsoft applications and ideally prior experience with care rostering and management systems.
  • Hold a full clean UK driving license.
  • Be subject to a full DBS check.
  • Not require sponsorship or a VISA for their employment in the UK.

Have or willingness to complete Diploma Level 3
