Do you have the leadership and innovation to develop and deliver activities and opportunities for a Students' Union at the forefront of the sector?

Sheffield Students' Union is entering an exciting new chapter, and we're seeking an Activities and Opportunities Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our offer for members.

The Role

  • Lead and manage a team to deliver a diverse and inclusive programme of activities and opportunities
  • Develop and implement our new strategic plans to increase and expand student participation and engagement, building student communities and belonging 
  • Build strong relationships with students and external partners to co-create exceptional experiences

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in service development and activities operations management, with particular focus on risk and financial management, and impact evaluation
  • A passion for working in partnership with students

We exist to represent, support and enhance the lives of our members. We’ve done so since 1906. We are an independent charity and work closely with the University to achieve a world-class student experience. Hours: 0.8 FTE - 1 FTE (35 hours per week)

Closing date: 12th May 2024
