Scrum Master
Salary £50,000 to £55,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits.
Job Purpose:
Work with and inspire the team to enable continuous delivery of working and valuable software into production in an Agile development model.
Working location:
The role is based in the Milton Keynes office. The role can be fulfilled via a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office each week.

Trusted Delivery:
- Coach the development team and product owners on effective user story writing utilising a range of techniques such as impact mapping, story mapping, etc.
- Work with Business analyst and product owners to help them define and share product vision with the development team, thus ensuring that everybody is aligned and works towards a common goal.
- Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies with a focus on collaboration and empowering people, as opposed to just doing administrative tasks around the ceremonies and JIRA.
- Represent the scrum team in discussion with Project Manager and senior management around delivery plans.
- Work with other stakeholders in the project in managing planning of software changes to production and represent the technical team in Change authorization meetings
- Shield the team from distractions. Remove impediments.
- Follow through with retrospective actions. Continuously review progress against the benchmarks (agile health reports).
- Remove any barriers within the teams, thus enabling a close cooperation across all roles and functions that surround the team.

Skills and Experience:
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent work experience.
- Experience of working in the enterprise environment with dozens of interdependent software systems.
- Effective stakeholder management. Ability to influence others to achieve a common goal.
- Experience of implementing Agile on large scale (SAFe, Less).
- Advanced JIRA user (workflows, schemes, fields, etc).
- Outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Skilled in refinement, estimation, story splitting, retrospection, velocity, and other Scrum techniques.
- Expert knowledge of Agile frameworks or methods, like Scrum or Kanban. You must understand relevant software development life cycle models. It also requires an in-depth understanding of traditional project management practices and principles.
