Senior Support Worker, Lindisfarne Court, Darlington

We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to assist in the effective management, administration and co-ordination of the service.   

The role will entail working on shift with the team of support workers and supporting the service manager with effective day to day management and leadership of the service.  

Essential Criteria:   

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care 
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults 
  • Experience of positive behavior support and supporting people with complex needs 
  • Experience of developing, reviewing and updating personal care plans 
  • Promote health and wellbeing in people’s lives 
  • Making everyday matter for the people we support  
  • The ability to be curious, aspirational and outcome focused 
  • Must be able to evidence effective leadership skills 
  • Working knowledge of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry 
  • Ability to motivate self and others 
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and sleepovers 
  • Good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office packages particularly Word and Excel 
  • A full valid driving license and use of own vehicle (Desirable)
