ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Nursery Cleaner at Spurgeons, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the children and families we serve. Your primary duties will include cleaning and sanitising all nursery areas, including floors, toys, and bathrooms, to ensure high hygiene standards. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere where children can thrive and explore. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will need to manage your time effectively and follow established cleaning schedules. Collaboration with nursery staff is essential, as you’ll need to understand their specific cleaning needs and priorities. Your contributions will directly impact the overall well-being of the children, helping to foster a healthy space that promotes their growth and happiness.

ABOUT YOU

You are a reliable and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Your previous experience in cleaning roles, particularly in childcare or similar environments, has equipped you with the skills needed to perform effectively. You understand the importance of health and safety standards and can follow established procedures accurately. Your friendly and approachable nature allows you to build positive relationships with nursery staff and contribute to a harmonious team environment. You take pride in your work and are dedicated to creating a safe, inviting space for children to learn and play. With strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude, you are ready to make a meaningful impact in this vital role.
