Job Purpose

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Job Details

We are looking for Personal Assistants to work with this 49 year old gentleman that lives in Craigmillar. There are various hours of work available.

About this opportunity

This gentleman has a diagnosis of Autism and Bi-polar disorder. He is a loving, caring man who can be overcome by his emotions.

He has a weekly routine; this is very important to him as he can find transitions difficult. This gentleman is tactile and loves to laugh, he enjoys company and to chat. He is very able and does not require any support with his personal care and is a delight to know.

Someone who has experience with Autism or mental health would be beneficial.
