Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active, and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.
Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Job Details
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a young woman who will be supported in an individual team by the Thistle Foundation. At the moment she is 38 and is very close with to her family. Attending Hydrotherapy sessions is also important, and for staff to hold a UK /EU driving licence as she has her own van.
About this opportunity
This lady will have 24/7 support, and she lives in her own flat in the West of Edinburgh for now but may move in the future. This lady is very sociable and doesn’t like spending time on her own. She likes to have people around her and to go out as much as possible to her favourite place's, the cinema, theatres, bowling and loves to shop. It’s important to and for this lady to keep her hair and nails looking good. Some other interests are playing cards, dominoes and quizzes, she also likes to watch tv and sometimes listens to music.
