Job Purpose: As our DDaT Programme Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of complex digital transformation programmes, ensuring strategic alignment, operational effectiveness, and measurable benefits. You’ll oversee multiple interdependent projects, manage programme-level risks and budgets, and engage with senior stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement in digital services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute programme strategies to meet organisational goals, on time and within budget
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and change initiatives to support technology adoption
  • Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance with data protection, cyber security, and procurement regulations
  • Manage resource planning, budgets, and business cases
  • Provide leadership and development for programme teams, fostering collaboration and innovation
  • Drive innovation by monitoring emerging technologies and leading post-implementation review 

Essential requirements:

·         Substantial experience leading complex digital transformation programmes

·         Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams and large budgets

·         Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration

·         Experience managing external suppliers and contracts

·         Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline

·         MSP Practitioner or equivalent, plus certifications in Agile methodologies

·         In-depth understanding of digital technologies (e.g. cloud, AI, IoT, data analytics)

·         Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills

·         Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, MS Project, DevOps)

Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you’ll work both in the office and from home as part of our ‘hybrid’ working model.
