We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner – Technology & Transformation to join our Finance team in Bradford or Peterborough.
About the role and person:

As our Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of managing and supporting Technology and Transformation finance operations. You’ll take the lead in collaborating with the Technology, Data and Transformation Directorate teams, providing them with timely and accurate financial insights to guide informed decision-making. You will support teams in navigating complex financial data, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout all processes.
Your financial expertise will support the Technology and Transformation teams in their efforts to maintain and improve processes, systems and activities to help Accent deliver the best outcomes for our customers. Through collaborative engagement, you will enhance the team's understanding of financial impacts, promote value for money, and ensure that all projects align with the organization's long-term strategy. Your role will contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of the organisation, ensuring that all financial transactions are managed with integrity and a focus on delivering exceptional service to residents.

Salary
The spot salary for this post is £49,613 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be a Finance Business Partner – Technology & Transformation?
- Recognised Accountancy Qualification (CCAB) or significant relevant experience Project accounting experience
- Strong experience in producing and reporting management accounts
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for non-finance professionals
- Knowledge of financial accounting systems and internal controls in a complex organisation
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders across all levels
- Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
- Experience in financial business partnering within the housing sector or a similar regulated environment
Location
The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to our Bradford or Peterborough office.
We’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage working from home, as long as we meet our customers’ needs.
We’ll provide you with the equipment and software you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
