Befriender Carer - Agency
Ailsa Response are looking for compassionate, caring individuals to work with us as a Befriender!
The role includes providing companionship to the service user as well as offering a helping hand in supporting them through their daily life with some personal care if required. Please note, we do not provide sponsorship for visa holders.
We are offering 6 week block bookings of two or three shifts per week dependent on the client’s requirements. Shift times are between 3-4 hours per day, optional overtime is also available.
Shifts are allocated based on the availability you give us on a week to week basis.
Job Role
- Provide companionship to service users in their own homes
- Spending time with the SU during their day and ensuring their needs are met, this could include having a cup of tea and a chat or accompanying on a walk to a park or café
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months paid UK Care Experience
- Commitment to 6 week block bookings with the client
- Ability to commute to South of Glasgow
Rate of Pay
- £12 per hour
