Care Assistant – Woodingdean (Full-time or Part-time)
About the role We’re looking for new colleagues in our Woodingdean area that are available to work some of, or all of the following hours.
8am – 1pm
5pm – 7:30pm
The individuals we are looking for will be kind, empathetic and reliable to support adults in their own homes. You’ll be part of a supportive, award-winning Brighton branch team with clear training and ongoing development.
What you’ll do
· Provide personal care, medication support, meal prep and light household tasks
· Offer companionship and encourage independence
· Travel between client visits in the local area
· Keep clear, accurate visit notes
What you’ll get
· From £12.60 per hour
· 40p/mile for business mileage (drivers)
· Free bus pass for non-drivers
· Paid training and shadowing
· Supportive local management and clear progression pathways
· Flexible rotas to suit full or part-time availability
What we’re looking for
· A caring, patient approach and good communication skills
· Reliability and professionalism
· Able to work alternate weekends and some early/evening shifts
· Drivers: Full UK driving licence and access to a car (preferred)
· Non-drivers: Confident using public transport (free bus pass provided)
· Right to work in the UK (required)
Training & compliance Full training and shadowing provided. If successful, you’ll need to attend the branch to verify Right to Work and compliance documents in person (enhanced DBS required—guidance provided).
