Care Coordinator-Brighton
We are looking for a Care Coordinator to join our Award winning branch in Brighton.
The Care Coordinator will report to the Registered Manager. You will be required to be office based to ensure that the allocation of our wonderful clients' care visits are person centred and meet their needs. Working with the Field Care Supervisors you will need to demonstrate excellent communication with local authority and other outside agencies to ensure the business grows in a safe way. You will need to build professional relationships with the care team, being friendly and approachable is vital for this role. Its important you are confident using a computer and holding professional conversations both via email and telephone. As a Care Coordinator you will also be responsible for managing carer annual leave, training and scheduling meetings for the Registered Manager.
Our Branch is located in Wooding dean, and we cover most areas of East Sussex. Our office is a fun and vibrant place to work that promotes workplace development. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm totalling 37.5 hours per week with on call on average one night a week and 1 in 3 weekends. There are currently 2 part time coordinators in post that are job sharing. It is important you can work with others as part of the team of coordinators. The office can be fast paced however the team work together and are supportive during busy periods.

For this role, you must be experienced within the care sector and hold or be happy to work towards NVQ level 3.
*MUST HAVE CARE EXPERIENCE OR CARE COORDINATING EXPERIENCE*
Criteria
- Experienced in scheduling/coordinating/ rota planning
- Full driving licence (preferable)
- Must be willing to deliver care as and when needed to meet the needs of the business
- Experienced using a rostering system
- Strong work ethic, organisation skills, and positive personality
- Experienced in care calls
- Take part in holding the ‘out of hours’ on-call phone
Skills and experience you should have:
- Good literacy skills
- Good presentation skills
- Computer literate
- Administrative experience
- Full driving licence
- Dedication and commitment
- Effective team player
- Good communication skills and time management

Candidates with access to their own reliable vehicle/licence preferable however we are open to applications from people who do not drive but you must understand that you may be required to travel to different parts of East Sussex when on call in an emergency situation.
