Senior Manager, Capital Investment (COOF50)
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months, working 35 hours per week, fixed term for 12 months (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £49,045 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: The role can be based from one of the following locations: Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Cambridge or Brighton. Ee are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week
Introduction: Arts Council England is building its excellent capital team to deliver a range of capital investment in 2025/26 to support arts organisations, museums and libraries, contributing to Let’s Create, our 10 year strategy.
You will be one of two Senior Managers leading the design, assessment and associated advice giving across the Arts Council capital programmes.
You will be a capital specialist, working collaboratively with the wider Capital team to support the delivery of arts, museums and libraries capital projects across England, helping us to deliver Let’s Create, our 10 year strategy.
The role will involve designing, development and delivery of capital investment programmes, and helping to shape the Arts Council’s strategic and policy apporach to capital. You will liaise with cultural organisations and external partners in helping to support the implementation of a range of capital projects across England.
You will lead a team of colleagues, and work collaboratively with the wider capital team and other colleagues across the Arts Council.
