Location: Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Brighton, Cambridge or Bristol (The role will be based at any of the offices listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) 

Arts Council England is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to support our Music Hubs team, a programme that supports the delivery of high-quality music education to children and young people across the country. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of the Music Hub programme, offering administrative support that keeps everything running efficiently.

You will be responsible for coordinating internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, and ensuring follow-ups are completed.  Additionally, your role will involve gathering and organising data, preparing briefings, and supporting the team’s day-to-day administrative processes. You will also assist the Senior Management team by managing schedules and travel plans.

As one of the first points of contact for the Music Hub team, you will play an important role in communicating with various stakeholders, making sure queries are answered and connections are maintained. The ideal candidate is organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment, with the flexibility to handle multiple priorities at once.
