2 X Officer, Capital Investment ( COOF52 and COOF53)

Contract: 12-month FTC/ Secondment, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

Salary: £32,163 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working. 

Location: Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle, Bristol or Brighton (The role will be based at any of the offices listed however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) 

 

We are looking for two organised and proactive Officers, Capital Investment to join our Capital team and support the delivery of Arts Council England’s capital investment programmes. These programmes are vital to sustaining the infrastructure of creative and cultural organisations across the country and contribute directly to the ambitions of our Let’s Create strategy. 

You will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end grant-making process, providing administrative and organisational support to help deliver investment programmes effectively. Your responsibilities will include coordinating tasks such as reporting, assessments, and briefings, supporting the production of internal and external grant guidance, and helping organise training and stakeholder engagement activities. You will also monitor the team’s communications inbox, ensuring that queries are managed promptly and professionally. 

Using digital tools and working closely with teams across the Arts Council, you will track programme impact, manage data securely, and help identify trends to support continuous improvement. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with government grant standards and Arts Council processes will be central to your work.
