Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2026 working 35 hours per week. (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £36,987 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Brimingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Brighton or Cambridge (The role will be based at one of the locations listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
Joining the Enterprise and Innovation team as a Project Manager offers a unique and exciting development opportunity within the Arts Council. The work of the E&I team supports organisations as they navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by the 'macro' environment in which culture and creativity take place. Our work is sector-facing, ambitious and dynamic.
In this role, you’ll contribute to a range of initiatives to support leadership skills and governance, business innovation, financial resilience and creative health, and link with colleagues in new technology, inclusive innovation and environmental responsibility. It’s a unique chance to collaborate across programmes that are helping to shape the future of the sector.
You will be responsible for planning, managing, delivering and evaluating this work, as well as contributing to any marketing and communications including planning internal and external comms campaigns and updating digital content.
To aid these programmes, you will also project manage the ongoing delivery and development of Investment Principles resources, including the Investment Principles Resource Hub.
Role Details:
You will support the E&I senior management in planning, managing, delivering and evaluating a range of sector support and change programmes, ensuring they are data-driven and demonstrate best-practice in operations and delivery.
Your role will include:
- commissioning and contracting external partners,
- event management, including online/live events, workshops, mentoring and training schemes
- planning and scheduling delivery milestones
- planning and scheduling communications campaigns
- supporting delivery of marketing and communications content to promote the activities
