Senior Officer, Financial and Risk Analysis (IC11)
Contract: Fixed term until 31 December 2026, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £45,000 per annum Grade C plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge, Brighton or Bristol (The role will be based in one of the locations listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
We’re looking for a Senior Officer, Financial and Risk Analysis to join Funded Organisations in the Funding Programmes team for a short-term secondment opportunity.
The successful candidate would join the Funded Organisations team as they work on the development and delivery of the National Portfolio Investment programme for 2028-33.
Role Details:
You will lead on providing expert advice and support to the Investment Centre as well as Area Management Teams, Relationship Managers and Executive Board on financial and risk analysis in relation to our assessment and monitoring of funding agreements for our National Portfolio.
You will manage the day to day monitoring of the risk of Arts Council funded organisations’ investments, advising Senior Managers where appropriate action may need to be considered, for example to improve the resilience of funded organisations.
You will manage the Officer, Financial and Risk Analysis and work with our other Financial and Risk Analysis colleagues in our Music Hub Investment and Capital teams.
