Salary: £27,401 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working. 

 

Location: Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge, Bristol or Brighton (The role will be based at …; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) 

 

The Funding Programmes teams in the Investment Centre lead on the design and delivery of the Arts Council’s funding programmes. The teams design new funding programmes as they are required, supporting colleagues across the organisation to translate policy into successful funding programmes that effect change. We also refine existing funding programmes through continuous improvement. We do this within the context of achieving our 10-year strategy, Let’s Create

 

The Project Funding team is one of the Funding Programmes teams. It oversees the design and delivery of some of the Arts Council’s key application-based funding programmes, including Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants and Developing your Creative Practice.  

 

The Assistant, Project Funding provides administrative and general support to the Senior Manager and the Project Funding team. They work flexibly, providing support to other teams and the Director, Funding Programmes as required. This will include supporting intervention processes, where team members work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to coordinate and agree the Arts Council’s response to organisations in difficulty.
