The Role       

Our Hospitality Assistants are responsible for providing a high-quality front of house service to all of our residents and visitors within St George’s Park Retirement Village. This is a varied role, and no two days are the same. You will be required to cover the different areas of our Retirement Village including our restaurant bistro, pool-side cafe bar and shop.

Requirements 

If you have got at least 1 years’ experience in Hospitality, Catering, or a similar role, then we would love to hear from you! If you have not got experience but you have got good interpersonal and communication skills, organisational skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a good work ethic, then we would also welcome your application. Full, on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Although it is no longer a legal requirement for staff working within CQC regulated Care Homes for Older Adult Care in England to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated, in the best interests of our staff and residents, we have decided to keep it a mandatory requirement to work for our organisation.   • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to talk and listen to residents and other contacts both internally and externally
  • Written communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work in a tidy and clean manner
