We’re looking for a Sales Manager who wants to be the face of Appletree and lead us through an exciting period of growth. Someone who can build momentum, drive sales against targets, and create an ownership experience that people genuinely talk about.
You’ll lead, develop and motivate your team, bringing energy and direction while ensuring every part of the sales journey is open, honest and done the right way.
This is a chance to shape something, not just step into it, to take a park with huge potential and help turn it into one of Lincolnshire’s up-and-coming destinations.
What you’ll be doing
This isn’t a “sit back and manage” kind of role, you’ll be right in the mix. Leading from the front, selling alongside your Sales Advisor, and building the momentum that takes Appletree to the next level.
Here’s what that looks like day to day:
Leading and inspiring a small but mighty sales team (you + 1), hitting targets together and celebrating the wins as a team
Coaching and developing your Sales Advisor day-to-day, sharing best practice, building confidence, and helping them grow their sales performance
Getting stuck into sales yourself, building your own pipeline, closing deals, and setting the standard for what great looks like
Keeping stock sharp and ready to impress, from pitch availability to making sure every holiday home is presented at its absolute best
Delivering an owner experience that people actually talk about (for the right reasons!)
Owning the aftersales journey, making sure everything is followed through quickly and properly
Creating a sales journey that’s open, honest and aligned with our values, no hard sell, just great conversations
Taking real ownership from first conversation through to long after completion, so every new owner feels confident and excited about their decision
Being out there, spotting opportunities, starting conversations and helping people picture what owning at Appletree could look like for them
Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need
First and foremost, you’re a natural people person who builds genuine, long-term relationships. You know how to make customers feel valued, whether that’s on the phone or face-to-face, and it’s as much about how you listen as how you speak.
But more than that, you’re someone who makes things happen. You’ve got a proven track record of delivering results, creating momentum, and not waiting for opportunities, you go out and make them. You bring energy, hunger and a drive to succeed, and you know how to keep both yourself and those around you motivated, even when things get tough.
You’re comfortable spinning multiple plates and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, staying calm, focused and approachable no matter what the day throws at you. You take pride in bringing ideas to life and turning potential into reality.
