What we need in a nutshell

We want our guests at Piperdam Leisure Resort to have a fantastic time when visiting the Spa during their holiday, enjoying a warm and friendly welcome and all the help they need. We are looking for a Spa Receptionist to deliver this exceptional customer service. Given our location please consider your route to and from work.

Some of the background

Part of the Away Resorts Family we are shaking up the great British holiday! As one of our 27 parks, set in 650 acres of idyllic Angus countryside, Piperdam combines superb accommodation and award-winning facilities to create the ultimate Scottish Experience. Our facilities include our Room with a View restaurant and Howie’s bar.

We need you to be the person who delivers delight when guests come for your help, whether it’s to book treatments, find out what’s on nearby, or ask you 101 questions.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of our of holiday heroes, you will have one of the most important jobs in the park. You are the holiday fixer; the person guests look to first when booking treatments, ask for advice or simply a friendly chat.

You will know all about pretty much everything a guest or member could ask and if you don’t know, you’ll find out for them. And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

We’ll provide training, but you must:

  • Be engaging, happy and helpful; able to make each and every guest feel special
  • Have experience working in a customer focused role
  • Be a confident communicator by phone, email and face to face
  • Project a professional and positive aura that reassures guests all is well
  • Be willing to turn your hand to anything - guests come first

It’s about your values too. We have a can-do, fun loving, people centred ethos here at Away Resorts, which is captured by our holiday heroes’ mantra of Attentive Amazing Lovers – if that’s fired up your curiosity, have a read about it here and decide if it describes you.

Nice to have but not essential

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t).

  • Experience in the hospitality sector

Our Promise to You

Holiday Heroes come with all sorts of different super-powers, and we welcome them all!

We embrace diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities. From our investors to our teams, we love that everyone comes from different backgrounds, allowing us to grow and inspire each other. We’ll never accept any form of discrimination, and we’ll forever strive not just for our product to be unique but our people too. Afterall, wouldn’t it be boring if we were all the same? In short, we want to bring your whole self to work!

Good Luck!
